What is home health care?

We provide a wide range of services to address an illness or injury, or sometimes simply to help with changing of circumstances. This can be both non-medical or medical services, offering you a safe alternative to staying in the hospital.

How does home care work?

We'll first schedule a visit to your home to assess your needs. We work with you, your family and your doctor to create a plan. We then identify a staff whose experience and personality best fit your needs. Once we begin, we will continue monitoring and update the plan as needed.

When can I get your services?

We’re happy to arrange a visit and make an assessment before we start. The first visit will typically start within 24-48 hours after the confirmation of the quotation.

Who can use your services?

We help all age groups, from newborn babies to the elderly people. Availability depends on your needs for a specific skill set and experience.

Do you provide senior care?

We have well-trained staff who enable elderly and their families to get the support they need. Assisted daily living tasks include transferring, bathing, hygiene and companionship.

What kinds of services do you offer?

We have two units. Our nursing team offers a wide-range of services, including home injections, skin care, wound care, catheter care. They further assist with managing diabetes and respiratory therapy like oxygen and asthma treatment. Our caregivers assist with daily living for the elderly and hospital discharge patients. We also have a team of compassionate newborn & children specialists.

What kinds of home nursing do you offer?

Our registered nurses (RNs) and assistant nurses (ANs) can attend to your needs from 2 hours and up to 24-hours. Their scope includes wound care, catheter care, feeding tubes, medication, tracheostomy and ventilator care.

What is the difference between home nursing and hospital nursing?

Our licensed nurses have the same qualifications as nurses in clinics and hospitals. The main difference is that you will receive nursing care in the privacy and comfort of their own home.

Will your staff do household chores and cook? Can the nanny cook food for my kids?

The goal is to provide emotional, medical and physical support. Our staff can assist with anything related to your loved one's care. Light housekeeping and meal preparation is normally part of the care plan.

Do you charge extra if it's more than one child?

Depending on the age of the children and any specific conditions, it might not be possible to care for two. This will be determined before we start, so that you know in advance.

How many babies or children can your nanny handle?

Depending on the age, a single staff can cover up to two children. We want to ensure a safe environment for your loved ones.

Do you have staff that work at night shift?

If you have sleep deprivation or struggling to cope with caring for your loved one at night, we can certainly help. More than half of our clients have night shift duty.

Can you handle premature newborn babies?

It takes a special kind of staff to perform this role. We have experience in caring for babies from just a few weeks old and babies with medical conditions. Our Care manager will assess each case.

Do you provide service to hotels?

We have a partnership with premium hotels in Dubai for both local and traveling clients. You can enjoy your stay with your children and elderly companions, while our staff help out by looking after them.

Do you work with corporate?

We collaborate with some of the recognized hospitals, nurseries, schools and hotels. Whenever there is a need for nursing, our team is able to provide the services for the community.

Do you have doctor home visits?

We only provide nursing services with our staff of nurses and caregivers. We do not provide doctors for home visits.

Which areas do you provide service to?

We provide services to all over Dubai and central Sharjah like Al Mamzar and Corniche. Our office is located in the Al Wasl area, close to the Business Bay metro station.

Do you have physiotherapy?

We do not provide physiotherapy at home. Please search for other providers in the area.

Nurses, Nannies & Caregivers

How will I choose a nurse or caregiver?

Matching the nurse and caregiver with your family is important. We do this by asking questions to determine the kind of needs you have. We match based on skill level, personality traits, likes and dislike.

Where is your staff from?

Most of our staff are from the Philippines, India and Central Africa. All of our nurses have a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

Can I have the same carer for each visit for the entire period?
keyboard_arrow_down

We want you to receive the best care and will always do our best to send the same person. With longer contracts, we can secure your preferred staff member easily. In case you are booking ad hoc, it may not be possible to satisfy your request every time.

What happens if I want a different staff?

If you are not happy, we will find a replacement for you at no extra charge. Choosing between multiple options is what makes us quickly find the right match for you.

What if I’m not happy and want a replacement?

We will always do our best to ensure that you are satisfied with the selected staff. Changing staff is possible with an available substitute. You are advised to book ahead of time to secure your preferred staff member.

Do you have more information about the carers?

We are happy to send you staff profiles with background, personality traits and profile photos. You can also meet them in person and have an interview.

What happens if the staff is off sick

We are extra cautious when staff report symptoms of a cold or concerns. They trained to notify the care team in advance, so that we can make the needed arrangements in time. We will find a replacement for the same day and the following days considering your needs.

How do you hire nurses and caregivers?

We will only send staff to your home that we would want to work our own home. Finding the best staff in the industry means effective screening applicants, assessment of skills sets, and background check. All staff undergo an in-depth interview and have to demonstrate a true passion for caring.

Who will be providing the care?

We have the most experienced, dedicated, and compassionate staff. We are registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, home health aides, live-in caretakers, and caregivers. All our care is supervised by clinical managers, coordinators and overseen by our operations manager.

Does your staff receive regular training?

Our staff is trained to the highest standards. The in-house and external training provides essential nursing knowledge and up to date information. We have specialists train the team on elderly respite and palliative care. We have demonstration sessions on newborn nursing, child growth and development.

How experienced are your staff?

We ensure that our nurses have experience in working for a hospital or similar health care facility such as a maternity ward or emergency room. We continue recruiting to build a pool of candidates with diverse professional backgrounds to match your needs.

Can I meet the nurse or caregiver before booking?

We’ll arrange so that you can meet and interview your chosen staff member before starting the service.

What will the nanny do?

Infants and toddlers can be very messy. We provide assistance with feeding, bathing, hygiene, and nappy times. Our carers are trained for these tasks, including essentials such as keeping toys clean and organized, tidying up the nursery, and vacuuming the play area, washing baby clothes, and providing overnight sleep relief.

What will the newborn nurse do?

Experience with the needs of families with a newborn. This could be before the baby is home like shopping for the nursery. Once the baby has arrived, you need help with preparing bottles with both breast milk and formula, giving first bathes, and maintaining a clean environment. We also get requests for tummy rubs and planning sleep schedules.

Do you have a nurse that can speak arabic?

We have a few staff that speak and understand basic arabic. If you are looking for fluent arabic speakers, then we can’t help you.

Do you have a nurse that can speak hindi or urdu?

We have only a handful of staff that are from India or Pakistan. If your requirement is a Hindi or Urdu speaker, then we might not be able to help you.

Does your staff know what to do in case of an emergency?

We do practical training for emergency situations for all our staff. They are trained in first-aid, have basic life support certification and know when to call emergency services.

Booking

What is your minimum and maximum booking hours per day?

Our minimum hours for a daytime booking is 4 hours and maximum would be 24 hours. Any nurse or caregiver can perform up to 12 hours in a single shift. For example, if you require care 24 hours a day, then two staff would be needed to cover it.

How late can I cancel or make changes to my booking?

Cancellation for a booking must be made 24 hours in advance. For an ad hoc booking, 4 hours is enough. Cancellations may carry a penalty charge, so let’s discuss the specific case when it comes up.

Do you provide a nurse or caregiver for 24 hours a day

If you need 24-hour home nursing, we will be assigning two staff members. Any staff member can perform up to 12 hours in a single shift, two staff would be needed to cover 24 hours.

Do you provide services hourly?

We provide services hourly. For example, 6, 8 or 12 hours per day on a weekly or monthly-basis to give you options.

Can you send a nurse or caregiver on the same day?

We provide daily ad hoc bookings. Our staff can arrive at your home within 4 hours of confirming the booking.

Do I need a referral from a doctor or hospital?

For medical services, we need to see the hospital discharge report or prescription to provide care. This is especially important for medication and home injections. The more information you can share with us, the better we're able to help you.

How much notice do I need to book a nurse or caregiver?

It is best to give us 48 hours notice, since our nurses are usually booked up quickly. For any long term home nursing service, please prepare to book at least two weeks in advance. This will give you the advantage of having a longer list of staff to choose from.

Do you provide services for only a short time?

Our home based services can be used on a short-term or long-term basis. Many of our patients use our services for only a few hours a day, while others have been with us for much longer.

How does the nurse or caregiver travel to reach me?

We have our own drivers and company cars. Our care coordinator will arrange for a driver to drop staff to your location. Staff will also be picked up by the driver when the shift is done.

Can I try the nurse for one day? Can I get a free trial for the nurse?

We offer a free first visit with the selected staff, but only for long term contracts. I’m sure you understand that we can’t offer this on a 2-3 days booking.

How do I know if I need a licensed nurse or just a caregiver?

A nurse is required when we have medical care, such as medication through IV injection, mechanical ventilator, dialysis or any other type of hospital at home service. For all other cases, you only need a caregiver.

How early in advance before delivering my baby do I need to book for a maternity nurse?

As early as possible, since our maternity department is always fully booked. In order to secure your preference, please call us as soon as you decide to book.

Trust & Privacy

How is my privacy protected?

As a DHA licensed health care provider, we have a strict patient privacy policy. This is explained in the Patients' rights and responsibilities on our website.

How do you maintain confidentiality?

The data and medical records are maintained with strict confidentiality. Our internal policies and guidelines give access only to relevant clinical personnel.

Are you licensed and certified?

We are licensed by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and get inspection visits for quality and safety standards.

Are your nurses licensed by the health authorities in the UAE?

All our nurses have attested degrees in nursing from their home country and licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The nurses go through a selection and training process to be part of our team.

Is your company regulated to protect the patients?

We come under the license of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). This includes privacy of patient information and following best standards practice for in-home nursing.

How do you ensure that I receive quality care?

Your overall well-being, safety and satisfaction is our primary goal. We are regulated by Dubai Health Authority with 70+ policies that help regulate healthcare organizations. We continuously improve the safety and quality of care, which reduce the risk of error.

How can I know that the person coming into my home is trustworthy?

You can be sure that every member of our team – whether nurse, caregiver or other staff, is highly trained. You can expect they are fully screened, trustworthy and under our company visa sponsorship.

Are your nurses and caregivers insured?

As required by law, all nurses and caregivers are licensed, certified and insured for health and safety.

What are you doing about COVID-19?

Because we are working with families and the most vulnerable in society, we take this outbreak very seriously by: - Educating employees with updated knowledge - Sensitization of company cars - Temperature checks before starting duties (monitored by management). - Using gloves, masks and disposable gowns on visits

Is there a way to complain about the service or staff?

Contact the office directly and ask for the care manager and report your complaint. We will conduct an investigation and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Extra services

Do you provide escorts for a patient travelling abroad to seek treatment?

Our licensed nurses are qualified in caring for patients when traveling abroad to receive medical treatment. We can also arrange nursing care upon the patient’s arrival to the UAE.

Do you organise the visas if we take the nurse or caregiver travelling with us?

Visas and travel expenses should be organised by you or the company handling the travel arrangements.

Can a nurse provide care while the patient is in the hospital?

We can provide assistance while the patient is still admitted in the hospital. Having said that, we are not allowed to perform medical intervention in the hospital, as it may conflict with the hospital’s own treatment.

Do you provide medical equipment?

We can help arrange for medical equipment based on the patient’s needs through our distributor partners.

Can the carer accompany the patient to hospital visits?

Carers can accompany patients to follow up or hospital appointments.

Can the nurse or caregiver visit places with the family and go out with the patient?

We often have our staff go out on short walks with clients all the time. Sometimes it’s food shopping or going out for a movie. It all depends on the need of each client.

Can you train my helper or myself to take care of elderly parents?

We can provide basic nursing training. We can also provide one on one training.

Family members

Do I have to be home when a family member is receiving care?

After a few visits, your loved one will become familiar with our staff. As long as it’s easy to access your home, you can continue work or travel.

Do I have to be involved in the care of my family members?
keyboard_arrow_down

You will most probably not have to be involved in the physical or medical care process at all. However, family support will be very important to help the patient improve his condition.
